Lori has been a board member of CPPC since 2016. As a Harvard-trained, board certified anesthesiologist specializing in pediatric and obstetric anesthesia, Lori practiced at Massachusetts General Hospital and the Presbyterian Hospital System in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She retired from practice 20 years ago to raise her 3 children. Today she works full time as a tutor for students of all ages in math, science and test prep.
Lori is a member of HPUMC and was an active volunteer in La Fiesta de las Seis Banderas and HPISD for over 15 years. She served as Chair of La Fiesta in 2013-14, during which time CPPC was selected as a La Fiesta Beneficiary. She chaired the Jane Goodall Reason for Hope Dallas fundraising campaign and served as Chair of the Viridian Municipal Management District Board of Directors from 2010-2011.
As a volunteer with the Highland Park Sharks, the Special Olympics swim team founded by her son, John Bannon, Lori came to know many of CPPC families. John currently serves on the CPPC Advisory Board.
