Alex J. Bell serves as a director on the Board of Connecting Point (CPPC). Alex and his wife Kimberly have three children who attend the Weekday School at UPUMC and Hyer Elementary.
Professionally, Alex is a founding Member of Ziegler Gardner Bell, PLLC a Dallas-based law firm that serves design and construction professionals and firms, businesses, and the insurance industry. He began his career as an assistant criminal district attorney in McLennan County, Texas (Waco) where he tried criminal cases to verdict and defended more than 180 cases on appeal. Alex received his undergraduate and law degrees from Baylor University.
In addition to serving with Connecting Point, Alex serves as the current Church Council Chair at University Park United Methodist Church and also chairs the Public Safety Committee for the City of University Park. He has also previously held board roles for non-profits supporting Alzheimer’s fundraising and law enforcement support and has held several leadership roles with the State Bar of Texas.
