Director

Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Katelyn Barbier-Mueller moved to Dallas after graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies. Initially Katelyn accepted an internship with Joni and Friends in their Dallas office. After completing the internship, Katelyn was hired as Connecting Point’s first Instructional Specialist when the program opened its doors in 2014. Katelyn so enjoyed working with the Teammates and their families she remained in touch after accepting a position as a teacher for two years as a teacher at Cornerstone Achievement Center.

Now as a mom of three small children, Katelyn continues to support the Teammates as a volunteer. Her involvement includes teaching Hearts and Crafts, a Bible study at CPPC, recruiting volunteers to provide instruction, and serving on both the Program and Development committees. Katelyn’s work on the Development committee, ensures CPPC has the resources to provide an exceptional experience for each Teammate, every day.

“I consider the Teammates some of my dearest friends and am grateful for the impact CPPC continues to have on my life. I am honored to serve on the board.”
