Volunteers are essential to Connecting Point’s program. If you are looking for an opportunity to make an impact and serve your community, CPPC encourages you to consider spending your time assisting adults with disabilities in all areas of our program at CPPC.
To be a volunteer with CPPC you do not have to have any experience working with our population. CPPC will provide necessary training to assist you in supporting our teammates in the day program and preparing you for the environment in which we serve.
Please inquire about volunteer opportunities by email or phone and we will be glad to provide you with information. It is our goal that we place volunteers in an opportunity to thrive not only for themselves but also for our teammates and staff at CPPC.
Types of Volunteer Opportunities:
Program Volunteer: This volunteer opportunity is for someone who wants to spend either the entire day or half of a day with us here at Connecting Point. The program volunteer would assist in the various components to our program such as daily living skills training, arts & crafts, brain building, social/safety skills, and exercise. You can choose to volunteer for the full day or half day (morning or afternoon session).
2 Hour Activity Volunteer: This volunteer opportunity is for someone who might have a special skill that they want to provide to our teammates on a weekly or monthly basis. For example: canvas paintings, music instruction, sports instruction etc. If you have a idea or talent that you would enjoy providing to our teammates, please contact us about volunteer opportunities!
Community Volunteer: This volunteer opportunity is for someone who wants to attend the activities and programs in the community with the CPPC teammates by providing extra hands in assisting the teammates with the activities.
