This year at the annual Kappa Kappa Gamma Tablescapes event, Connecting Point of Park Cities was presented as one of their beneficiaries.
On Tuesday, CPPC was presented with the $18,000 check and this money will go directly towards creating a sensory room for the organization’s “teammates.”
A multi-sensory environment will be extremely beneficial to the teammates as it will provide an area where they can relax and refocus, helping them to stay on task, maintain positive social behaviors, and enjoy giving back to their community. Connecting Point of Park Cities is a day program for adults with disabilities that provides a positive social outlet with a focus on giving back to the community. They believe that everyone has the ability to give and Kappa Kappa Gamma is helping the organization fulfill its mission.
